These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of services by A STAR Clinic ("the Clinic," "we," "our," or "us") to any client ("you," "your"). By confirming a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
1.1 Appointments may be booked via our website or directly with the Clinic. Confirmation of an appointment includes agreement on the services, date, time, and location.
1.2 A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.
1.3 Late arrival may result in a reduced treatment time. The full session fee will remain payable regardless of session length.
2.1 Client Cancellations
2.1.1 Where notice of cancellation is provided more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment, no cancellation fee will be charged and the appointment may be rescheduled.
2.1.2 Where notice is provided less than 24 hours prior, the deposit will be forfeited and further charges may apply at the Clinic's discretion.
2.2 Clinic Cancellations
The Clinic reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments in the following circumstances:
2.2.1 With a minimum of 24 hours' notice, for operational reasons.
2.2.2 Without prior notice, in the event of therapist illness, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances outside of our control.
2.2.3 Where the client is deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.
The Clinic will take reasonable steps to reschedule the appointment at the earlies opportunity.
3.1 Payment is accepted by cash, debit/credit card or bank transfer.
3.2 All fees must be settled in full on the day of the appointment.
3.3 The Clinic reserves the right to decline future bookings if outstanding balances remain unpaid.
4.1 Disclosure of Information: Clients must provide accurate and complete information regarding their medical history and current health status prior to treatment. Failure to disclose such information may render treatment unsuitable or unsafe.
4.2 Liability Exclusions:
The Clinic shall not be held liable for:
4.2.1 Loss, theft or damage to personal belongings during your visit.
4.2.2 Adverse outcomes resulting from the client's failure to disclose relevant medical information.
4.2.3 Normal and expected aftereffects of treatment, including but not limited to muscle soreness, bruising, or temporary skin discolouration.
4.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be lawfully excluded under applicable consumer protection legislation.
5.1 Clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or responsible adult at all times.
5.2 Written or verbal consent must be provided by the accompanying adult prior to any treatment being carried out.
6.1 The Clinic is committed to providing a high standard of service. Should you wish to make a complaint, it must be submitted in writing to admin@astarclinic.co.uk.
6.2 We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint and provide a response within a reasonable timeframe.
7.1 The Clinic reserves the right to amend or update these Terms at any time.
7.2 The most recent version of the Terms will always be available on our website and shall apply to all bookings made after the date of publication.
